~ Like any proper San Franciscan, I am a bit infatuated with and a bit skeptical of the green movement. As a bit of a socialist I tend to stare with narrowed gaze at any sort of act that could be deemed a market trend. However, I enjoy the entwining of capitalist chest-puffing manifest destiny with the willowy, lofty idealism of the newly coalesced green culture. I would rather spend money on stuff that doesn't involve hurting something or someone. A fairly simple ethos. Really tricky to actually sustain. Regardless, I'd like to incorporate some of my personal goals wherever possible and so my wedding is no exception. In order to gather information about ways I can work to be a conscientious consumer, I'm gathering a list of sites to check out for everything from dresses to flowers to food. If you're feeling bored, please check out these sites and post any suggestions. Thanks.
